Hong Kong Hotel Areas
Although the entire region is often referred to as Hong Kong, for our purposes we refer to the island itself. Major neighbourhood areas; Central, Wanchai, Causeway Bay, Northpoint.

Wanchai, an exciting neighbourhood home to the Hong Kong Convention Centre filled with small shops, eateries, & traditional markets, Wanchai exudes the flavour of Hong Kong.

Causeway Bay, large international shopping emporiums Times Square, Sogo etc. give Causeway Bay a bit more international flavour. Many stylish boutique hotels here.

Northpoint / QuarryBay, Hong Kong's fast developing commercial centre.

Kowloon Hotel Areas
Kowloon is the peninsula of mainland China and home to Nathan Road, the area's fabled shopping destination. Major areas include Tsim Sha Shui/Jordan and Mongkok.

Tsim Sha Tsui. Facing Hong Kong island from across Victoria Harbour Kowloon is an attraction unto itself. Known for the famous Nathan Road shopping area hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui run the gambit from small budget hotels exclusive five star properities.

Mongkok, known for its many discount markets (Ladies Night Market, Jade Market, electronics market etc.) Mangkok is now starting to move upscale with beautiful new shopping centres and hotels to match.

Other Hotel Areas
Consisting primarily of the New Territories and the outlying islands, we also included a few hard to clasiify precints around Hong Kong.

New Territories. Outside the city of Hong Kong itself are a growing number of hotels and resorts luring visitors with their own unique attractions (i.e. golf or watersports), location and so on.
